NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Penns Grove, Salem County, New Jersey for the MULTIPLE PROPERTY DEMOLITION PROJECT in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(a) (b) for:
Bid No. 2021-001 Multiple Property Demolition Project
Sealed bids for the above will be received by the Borough of Penns Grove at the Borough Hall, Council Chambers, 1 State Street, Penns Grove, New Jersey 08069 at 10:00 am. (Prevailing Time) on the 7th Day of January 2022 and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter.
Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury and possess a State of New Jersey Division of Taxation and Revenue Business Registration Certification, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bid submitted under the terms of New Jersey statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualifications/Classification Certificate will be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements.
Bid package can be picked up at Allen Reproduction Co., Inc. at 800 Market Street, Camden New Jersey 08101 856- 365-0967 or visit . PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCE FOR PROMPT SERVICE. A non-refundable deposit will be required for bid packages (payable to Allen Reproduction Co., Inc.) Please call for pricing (856.365.0967). Acceptable forms of payment: Cash, Credit Card, Money Order, Company Check, Cashier’s Checks & Certified Check. They will not accept personal checks. All payments are non-refundable. Overnight services must be arranged only after the fee is received and have shipping charges be billed to the recipient’s account.
A pre-bid walk-through will be held on 15th Day, December @ 10:00 am. SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW ONLY AT THE PRE-BID WALKTHROUGH. All parties will meet at the Borough Hall parking lot, 1 State Street, Penns Grove, New Jersey 08069. Attendance at this walk-through is not mandatory, but this is a convenient time to complete the mandatory Site Visit Form and ask for clarifications. All bidders are advised that if you miss the pre-bid inspection walk through, you are cautioned to personally inspect the location to familiarize yourselves with the particular requirements of the job described herein.

Bids must be submitted on standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name of bidder on the outside, clearly marked with the MULTIPLE PROPERTY DEMOLITION PROJECT, name and address of Bidder, and addressed to the Borough of Penns Grove, 1 State Street, Penns Grove, New Jersey 08069, Attn: Ms. Sharon Williams, RMC, CMR, Municipal Clerk. Sealed bids must be delivered to the Borough on or before the time and date stated above. The Borough of Penns Grove assumes no responsibility for bids mailed incorrectly or misdirected in delivery.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. Bidders are required to comply with all the requirements of Affirmative Action Regulations P.L. 1975 and the Prevailing Wage Law as required under chapter 150 of the laws of 1963, State of NJ. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid which in its judgment will be for the best interest of the Borough of Penns Grove.
Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq., Bidders are required to comply with the Affirmative Action Regulation of P.L. 1975, c. 127, (N.J.A.C. 17-27).
Chapter 33, Laws of 1977 (Assembly Bill No. 22, 1976, approved March 8, 1977)-requires corporate bidders of State, County, Municipal or School contracts to submit a list of the names and addresses of all stockholders owning 10% or more of their stock.
