The official weather forecast for Salem County indicates that Code Blue conditions may exist for January 6 through the 12, 2023. Anyone encountering someone who is homeless should assist them in calling ‘211’. The staff at NJ 211 will place the homeless in hotel/motel and contact Salem County Board of Social Services the next day to arrange payment. The Code Blue Coalition may still have care packages for the homeless to be distributed by the PD’s when they encounter someone who is homeless. Anyone who is interested in receiving these kits, please let me know. At this time, the Code Blue Activation will expire on January 13,2023 at 07:00 hours.
