PLANNING BOARD SECRETARY, Part-Time – BOROUGH OF PENNS GROVE (SALEM COUNTY)

The Borough of Penns Grove seeks a part time Planning Board Secretary that will work under the direction of the Chairman and serve as the assistant of the Board members. The Secretary shall coordinate, exchange of information between board members, developer, attorney and professionals. Responsibilities include: transcribing minutes, prepare agendas and 200’ List notices. The secretary will need to maintain escrow accounts and records of the board. The secretary will need to be available and attend all Planning Board meetings and hearings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or state authorized high school equivalent certificate. The secretary will need to complete a basic training course within 18 months of appointment. REQUIREMENTS:
Must have Two (2) years of clerical experience involving the organization of office clerical processes and procedures or as a secretary to an executive or administrative official in a public or private organization.
