This Ordinance was considered for final passage and adopted after a public hearing was held at a meeting of the Penns Grove Borough Council on the 21st day of April 2026.

An Ordinance Establishing the Salem County Joint Municipal Court
In accordance with the provisions of P.L.1995 c. 259, the Municipal Clerk has prepared a statement setting forth the purpose of the Ordinance. A copy of this Ordinance in its’ entirety may be obtained with cost, by any member of the general public, from the Municipal Clerk, 1 State Street, Penns Grove, New Jersey.
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of this Ordinance is to authorize the Borough of Penns Grove to join the Joint Municipal Court; thus, creating a new Municipal Court, the Salem County Joint Municipal Court.
