Final Adoption of Ordinance No. 2026-05

Publish Date: April 27, 2026 Notice is hereby given that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and passed on first reading at a meeting of the Penns Grove Borough Council, held on the 7th day of April 2026. This Ordinance was considered for final passage and adopted after a public hearing was held at a meeting of the Penns Grove Borough Council on the 21st day of April 2026.

Ordinance No. 2026-05 An Ordinance Establishing the Salem County Joint Municipal Court

In accordance with the provisions of P.L.1995 c. 259, the Municipal Clerk has prepared a statement setting forth the purpose of the Ordinance. A copy of this Ordinance in its’ entirety may be obtained with cost, by any member of the general public, from the Municipal Clerk, 1 State Street, Penns Grove, New Jersey.

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of this Ordinance is to authorize the Borough of Penns Grove to join the Joint Municipal Court; thus, creating a new Municipal Court, the Salem County Joint Municipal Court. Respectfully submitted, Sharon R. Williams, RMC
