Notice is hereby given that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and passed on first reading at a meeting of the Penns Grove Borough Council, held on the 15th day of September 2026. This Ordinance will be considered for final passage and adoption after a public hearing is held at a meeting of the Penns Grove Borough Council on the 6th day of October 2026.

An Ordinance of the Borough of Penns Grove, County of Salem, State of New Jersey, Restricting the Use of Bows and Arrows Within the Residential Sections of the Borough
In accordance with the provisions of P.L.1995 c. 259, the Municipal Clerk has prepared a statement setting forth the purpose of the Ordinance. A copy of this Ordinance in its’ entirety may be obtained without cost, by any member of the general public, from the Municipal Clerk, 1 State Street, Penns Grove, New Jersey.
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of this Ordinance is to restrict the discharge, shoot or use of bows and arrows within any resident section or residential zone, including but not limited to single-family, two-family, and multi-family residential districts, and shall include all yards, lots, and open areas appurtenant to residential dwellings within the Borough of Penns Grove.
